Terms of service

Last updated: 18 October 2026. The short version: HackLoop is a free index of hackathons; registration and prizes are the organiser's responsibility, and we make no warranties about listings.

Acceptance

By using HackLoop you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What HackLoop provides

HackLoop is a free, public index of hackathons and tech events across India. We aggregate listings published by organisers and make them searchable. We are not an organiser: registration, submissions, prizes and judging are run by the events we link to, under their own terms.

Listings are provided as-is. We do our best to keep them accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that any event will take place, that its dates or prizes will not change, or that registration will remain open. Always confirm details on the organiser's own page before travelling or paying.

Your use of the site

You may browse, search, filter and save hackathons for personal, non-commercial use. You may share links to listings.

You must not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it in a way that degrades performance for others, or use it to send unsolicited messages. Automated access should respect robots.txt and reasonable rate limits.

Saved list

Your saved shortlist is stored locally in your browser. We do not hold a copy of it and cannot recover it if you clear your browser data.

Third-party content and links

Hackathon pages link to organisers' registration and rulebook URLs. Those sites are independent of HackLoop and have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or availability.

Intellectual property

The HackLoop name, logo and site design are ours. Hackathon titles, descriptions and logos belong to their respective organisers and are shown here to help you discover them. If you believe a listing misuses your content, email privacy@hackloop.tech and we will address it promptly.

Liability

HackLoop is provided without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from any event you register for through it.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date below reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
